The troubleshooting process begin with checking the email address and password, whether those are correct or not. After check RR email ID and password, they will have to verify the same by accessing their email on a computer. If they have entered the correct email address and password, but are still facing the issue, then it is suggested to clear the cache and data of Samsung Galaxy S9 email app. After clearing the cache and data, they will have to set up their email account again and enter below-mentioned values.

Below-mentioned are the settings that need to be entered:

  • In 'Server' option, type 'pop.mail.rr.com'.
  • In 'Port' option, type '995'.
  • Choose 'Yes' for the option named 'Requires SSL'.

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

  1. In 'Server' option, type 'smtp.mail.rr.com'.
  2. In 'Port' option, enter '465 or 587'.
  3. For 'Requires SSL' option, select 'Yes'.
  4. For 'Requires TLS', option, select 'Yes' (only if this option is available)
  5. For 'Requires authentication' option, select 'Yes'.

Enter log in related information

  1. Email address: Type in your RR email address (including @rr.com)
  2. Password: Enter your Roadrunner email password.
  3. Requires authentication: Yes

If you want to set up your Roadrunner email using IMAP setting, then here are the values that you are going to enter:

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

  • In 'Server' option, type 'pop.mail.rr.com'.
  • In 'Port' option, type '993'.
  • Choose 'Yes' for the option named 'Requires SSL'.

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

  • In 'Server' option, type 'smtp.mail.rr.com'.
  • In 'Port' option, enter '465 or 587'.
  • For 'Requires SSL' option, select 'Yes'.
  • For 'Requires authentication' option, select 'Yes'.

Enter log in related information

  1. Email address: Type in your RR email address (including @rr.com)
  2. Password: Enter your Roadrunner email password.
  3. Requires authentication: Yes

RR email users can solve the problem by entering the settings mentioned above, but if the problem continues to appear, then take help of RR email help and support providers.
